Waterfalls Level 3

Victoria Falls, located on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, is one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders. It's known as "Mosi-oa-Tunya" in the local Lozi language, meaning "The Smoke That Thunders," due to the massive spray and roaring sound created by the falling water. Discovered by Scottish explorer David Livingstone in 1855, he named it after Queen Victoria of Britain. Victoria Falls is the world's largest sheet of falling water, with a width of 1,708 meters (5,604 ft) and a height of 108 meters (354 ft). It's neither the highest nor the widest waterfall, but its combined width and height make it the largest in the world. The falls are part of two national parks: Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe. During the peak flood season (February to May), over 500 million liters of water cascade over the edge every minute. The falls create a unique rainforest ecosystem sustained by the constant spray, hosting diverse flora and fauna. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting tourists for its breathtaking views, adventure activities, and wildlife encounters. The famous Devil's Pool, a natural infinity pool, allows visitors to swim at the edge of the falls during the dry season (September to December). The Victoria Falls Bridge, completed in 1905, connects Zimbabwe and Zambia and offers a thrilling bungee jumping experience. Most spectacular natural wonders
