Waterfalls Level 7

Sutherland Falls, located in New Zealand, is a stunning natural wonder. It's one of the tallest waterfalls in New Zealand, with a total drop of 1,904 feet (580 meters) across three cascades. Sutherland Falls was discovered by Scottish settler Donald Sutherland in 1880, and it's named after him. The falls are a highlight of the famous Milford Track, a 33.5-mile (53.9 km) hiking trail that takes 4 days to complete. Sutherland Falls is situated within Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. The falls can only be accessed by hiking the Milford Track or via a scenic flight, making it a remote and pristine destination. In 2019, the falls were temporarily closed due to a landslide, but they have since reopened for visitors to enjoy. Tallest waterfalls in New Zealand
